1) Why is the Glencoe Group brand changing?

The rebranding of Glencoe Group to RenRe Insurance:

• creates a closer connection to the parent company name
• allows it to better leverage the strength of the RenaissanceRe brand

2) What is changing with the Glencoe Group brand?

Effective June 1st, the Glencoe Group brand was retired and replaced with RenRe Insurance to describe the collective activities of the insurance segment within RenaissanceRe.

We’re also proud to announce a new unit, run by Dan Eudy and serving the commercial property insurance market, called RenRe Insurance Underwriters Inc.

3) What about the licensed company entities with the Glencoe Group brand?

At present, there are no changes to the names of these ‘paper companies’ on which Glencoe Group’s policies were written. RenRe Insurance will use the same names and entities:

Glencoe Insurance Ltd.	A (Excellent)
Stonington Insurance Company	A (Excellent)
Stonington Lloyds Insurance Company	A (Excellent)
Lantana Insurance Ltd.	A (Excellent)

4) For our partners, brokers, wholesalers, insureds, or other counter-parties, will there be any effect?

No. Because our licensed entities (Stonington, Lantana, etc.) aren't changing, there is no effect on them. It will have the benefit of making it easier to identify and associate us with our parent company in the marketplace.

5) Will the brand of the parent company, RenaissanceRe, or the Bermuda-based reinsurance company, Renaissance Reinsurance Ltd., be affected by Glencoe Group’s change?

No. They will continue to utilize the “RenaissanceRe” brand.
