Charitable Contributions

RenaissanceRe is committed to working to improve the quality of life in the Bermuda community by focusing on organizations and/or causes that are seen to be supporting the following:

  • Education, (Scholastic/ Academic) e.g. RenaissanceRe Scholarship; United World College
  • Crime and Drug Prevention e.g. Crimestoppers;  Caron Bermuda Foundation; Youth Net
  • Housing e.g. Habitat Bermuda 

In addition, we have an Employee Matching program through which the Company will support other organizations or causes that any employee chooses to support with their own contribution that meet the following criteria:

  • Organizations receiving support need to be a Bermuda registered charity, or in the process of becoming a registered charity.
  • Donations need to be given directly to the targeted cause; support will not be given to individuals or religious groups; non-Bermudian organizations are generally not supported.

2010 RenaissanceRe Scholarship

The RenaissanceRe Scholarship allows you to focus on your studies without worrying about how you will pay for your education.

It is open to students with Bermudian status, is awarded for a maximum of 4 years and covers tuition, books and reasonable travel. View application or collect it from our office at Renaissance House, 8-24 East Broadway, Pembroke.
