Neill A. Currie

President and Chief Executive Officer

Neill Currie was a co-founder of RenaissanceRe in 1993, and served as a Senior Vice President until he retired from the company in 1997. He re-joined the company in July 2005 as an Executive Vice President, to oversee the firm-wide marketing and client relations activities, as well as leading the Specialty Underwriting business. In November 2005, Mr. Currie assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd., and became President & CEO in 2008.

Mr. Currie previously served as a director of Platinum Underwriters Holdings. Prior to joining RenaissanceRe in 1993, he was Chief Executive Officer of G.J. Sullivan Co.-Atlanta, a private domestic reinsurance broker. From 1982 through 1992, Mr. Currie served as Senior Vice President at R/I and G.L. Hodson, predecessors to Willis Group Holdings Ltd.

Mr. Currie has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jeffrey D. Kelly

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd.

Jeffrey D. Kelly is responsible for the accounting, finance, control, financial reporting, tax, investor relations, Ventures and strategic planning functions of RenaissanceRe. He assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President on July 6, 2009.

Mr. Kelly formerly served as Chief Financial Officer of National City Corporation from 2000 until his retirement from the company in 2008. He had also served in the additional post of Vice Chairman from 2004. Previously, Mr. Kelly was also a member of the Board of Directors of The Progressive Corporation, where he served as Chairman of the Investment and Capital Committee.

Mr. Kelly has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Akron.

John D. (Jay) Nichols, Jr.

John D. (Jay) Nichols, Jr. has served as our Executive Vice President since February 2003 and has served as President of Renaissance Underwriting Managers Ltd. since February 2000 and as President of RenaissanceRe Ventures Ltd. since October 2004. He currently oversees the business development and management of our Joint Ventures and Venture Capital businesses. Mr. Nichols joined Renaissance Reinsurance Ltd. as a member of the Finance group in 1995.

From August 1990 through September 1995, Mr. Nichols held various positions at Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company where he was responsible for financial reporting and subsequently property claims. Mr. Nichols held various positions in Finance at Monarch Capital Corporation from September 1986 to August 1990, and was a Certified Public Accountant with the firm Matson, Driscoll and D'amico from June 1982 to August 1986, where he specialized in audits of business interruption insurance claims for insurance companies.

Mr. Nichols holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College.

Kevin J. O'Donnell

Executive Vice President and Global Chief Underwriting Officer

Kevin J. O'Donnell serves as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Global Chief Underwriting Officer, with responsibility for the oversight and management of its reinsurance and insurance businesses. Mr. O'Donnell has served as Senior Vice President of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. since 1999, and has also held the position of President of Renaissance Reinsurance Ltd., overseeing the Company’s Reinsurance lines, including Property Catastrophe, Ceded Reinsurance, and Specialty Reinsurance. He joined the Company in 1996 to lead the International Underwriting and Ceded Reinsurance businesses.

Mr. O'Donnell has over 20 years of insurance and reinsurance experience, including alternative markets, catastrophe underwriting and insurance derivatives and securitization. Prior to joining RenaissanceRe, he was a Vice President of Centre Financial Products, Ltd., and also held positions at SCOR and Chubb. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hamilton College and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Peter C. Durhager

Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

Peter C. Durhager joined RenaissanceRe in 2003 as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. He was promoted to Executive Vice President in February 2010 and serves on the Company’s Executive Committee. Mr. Durhager is responsible for the company's Global Shared Services division, including Human Resources, Organizational Development, Operations, Marketing, Communications and Information Technology.

Previously, Mr. Durhager was President and Chief Operating Officer of Promisant Ltd., Chairman and CEO of Logic Communications Ltd., and President and CEO of Millennium International Limited. Mr. Durhager is a Director of KeyTech Ltd. and Ascendant Group Limited, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Centre on Philanthropy. Mr. Durhager holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.

William J. Ashley

Mr. Ashley formerly served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Underwriting Officer of RenRe Insurance Holdings Ltd, and as Senior Vice President of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. He will remain with the Company until his retirement on June 30, 2010.

In his previous role, Mr. Ashley was responsible for leading the operational and underwriting aspects of RenRe Insurance, including program and reinsurance underwriting.

Mr. Ashley joined RenRe Insurance (formerly known as Glencoe Group) in 2001 as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Ashley has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 12 years focusing on primary insurance. Mr. Ashley holds the CPCU designation and a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Illinois State University

Ian D. Branagan

Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer
RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd.

Mr. Branagan serves as Chief Risk Officer with oversight of RenaissanceRe’s risk management systems and practices. Mr. Branagan joined the Company in 1998 to open the Dublin office, later relocating to Bermuda with additional responsibilities for underwriting risk and modeling across the insurance and reinsurance operations. He has served as the Head of Group Risk Modeling since 2005. Prior to joining RenaissanceRe, he headed up Applied Insurance Research Inc.’s (AIR) international activities, which included the development and marketing of AIR’s cat models and tools. He also worked in the London market at DP Mann Limited, developing pricing and risks analytics. Mr. Branagan has a B.Sc. in Economics and European Economic History from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Todd R. Fonner

Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer,
RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd.

Mr. Fonner serves as the Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer, and is responsible for the management and oversight of the investment portfolio and treasury function of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. Mr. Fonner joined the RenaissanceRe team in 2001 as Vice President and Treasurer, and was appointed Senior Vice President and Treasurer in January 2006. In August 2006 he was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Investment Officer. In February 2009, he relinquished the Chief Risk officer role to become Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer and in January 2010 was promoted to his current position. He has over 19 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience, including his former positions of Vice President of Centre Solutions, and Manager of Strategic Planning for USF&G. Mr. Fonner holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Middlebury College, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Stephen H. Weinstein

Stephen H. Weinstein is a Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel & Secretary of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. Mr. Weinstein serves as RenaissanceRe's chief legal officer, with responsibility for legal, regulatory, government affairs and compliance matters on a global basis. Mr. Weinstein joined the RenaissanceRe team in 2002 from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, a leading international law firm, where he focused broadly on corporate and transactional matters. Mr. Weinstein has expertise in the legal aspects of capital markets and other financing transactions, corporate governance matters, corporate reporting and disclosure issues, mergers, acquisitions and strategic alliances, technology licensing and commercial transactions, as well as compliance and regulatory issues. Mr. Weinstein, a frequent speaker on legal and regulatory matters, serves on the board of several industry groups and is a Member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. He is a graduate of Columbia College and Harvard Law School.
