Mark Tawney is President of RenRe Energy Advisors Ltd. He joined the company in 2006 as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. Prior to this, Mr. Tawney was a founding partner of Takara Capital Management LP., Managing Director of weather and energy products at Swiss Re Financial Products, and head of global weather derivatives trading for Enron Global Markets. Mr. Tawney also led Aquila Merchant Energy’s weather risk management efforts and was Vice President at Koch Industries, where he co-founded and led its weather derivatives trading desk.

George Carrick

George Carrick is Vice President of Business Development for RenRe Energy Advisors Ltd. He joined the company in 2009, before which he held positions in energy corporate finance, trading and risk management including Global Head of Energy Risk for West LB, Managing Director of Structured Products Trading for Koch Industries, and Managing Director at The Chase Manhattan Bank.

Paul Kaplan

Paul Kaplan is Vice President for Operations at RenRe Energy Advisors Ltd. He joined the company in 2006 from the parent company, RenaissanceRe, having led the organization’s entry into weather derivative trading from 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Kaplan was Vice President Trading at the Transworld group of companies, where he spent 18 years holding trading and marketing positions for domestic and international crude oil at Transworld Oil Ltd., Oman Oil Co., and Atlantic Refining and Marketing.

Aditya Dutt

Senior Vice President, RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd.
President, RenaissanceRe Ventures Ltd.

Aditya Dutt oversees RenaissanceRe Ventures Ltd. and Renaissance Underwriting Managers, Ltd. Mr. Dutt is responsible for managing DaVinci Re and Top Layer Re (RenaissanceRe’s catastrophe joint ventures) as well as RenRe Energy Advisors Ltd. He also directs RenaissanceRe's portfolio of strategic investments and insurance-linked securities. Mr. Dutt joined the Company in 2008.

Previously, he was an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking division in New York and Hong Kong, responsible for executing strategic transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital-raising for the insurance and reinsurance industry. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Dutt was with Salomon Brothers in the corporate finance and fixed income departments in Hong Kong.
